Sony Playstation Network Is Being Rebuilt For Better Security

Sony Corp. said it was rebuilding security its PlayStation Network to bring it back online after an “outside interference” led them to suspend service.

The company said it out of the service, which allows players to communicate in the game live, so it could build its network infrastructure. Qriocity – platform for online entertainment company has also affected.

“While this task is time consuming, we decided it was worth the time to provide additional security system,” the company said in a blog on Saturday. An e-mail to the company seeking more information was not immediately returned.

PlayStation Network and Qriocity on Wednesday, as the company may go out to investigate any intrusion from outside. The company said the next day, there could be a “day or two” to the service again. On Saturday, the company said in a blog that can work round the clock “to online services.

“Thank you for your patience in this day and ask for a little longer as we move to complete the project,” the company said in the post. The blackout occurred shortly after the release on Tuesday of the game “Mortal Kombat”, which focuses on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Microsoft Corp..
